Let us get you away to which the warm brightness and calm blue tones greet a spring morning! For this beautiful real wedding dresses, the picturesque Wicklow countryside was full of powder blue gowns, a deep navy tuxedo, and velvet Valentino heels in cobalt. In the month of May, 35 of Frances and Chris' closest family and friends traveled in the United States to the emerald island to witness their nuptials as well as an outpouring of love. Studio Brown and her incredible photographic skills were available to capture all of the emotional moments and also the finest of information on this wedding at Killruddery House. We greet you all to consider a look at the beautiful wedding album love story of Frances and Chris the following...
Eight years back, on St. Patricks Day, the luck from the Irish cast an appreciation spell over two strangers inside a bar in Philadelphia. Frances and Chris who instantly hit them back became completely inseparable until Frances went to live in Baltimore to pursue her career after college. For about 2 yrs, the pair balanced a somewhat long-distance relationship, but as they say, distance helps make the hearts grow fonder. They explain: "Our bond intensified and that we decided that people could not live further apart anymore. So, we finally moved in together in Philly before eventually finding our 'home' in Cherry Hill, New Jersey where right now we reside with this dog, Frank."
An emotional moment was shared between Frances, her mother, and her bridesmaids that even brought a tear to her eyes. The couple says they share an appreciation that has endured many goods and bad, but Chris knew the moment he laid his eyes on Frances, that there was no one else he desired to spend his life with. This leads us to the romantic proposal that occurred one beautiful spring day in May 2019. "Chris proposed in my experience on a course after I sunk my last putt in the 9th hole. Chris marked the ball using the words 'will you marry me?' reveals Frances.
Chris chose a slick deep blue tuxedo, having a contrasting black lapel and bow tie. which tied in perfectly using the blue tones used through the styling. His groomsmen complemented his look dressing in chic black-tie tuxedos. The words accustomed to describe their Killruddery House wedding were romantic, elegant, timeless and straightforward, and thus far, the design and style has greatly understood the assignment!
Absolutely breathtaking! Frances chose Badgley Mischka as her wedding gown designer. The applique detail in her own sheer bodice is divine, together with her silky-soft skirt that melted into a stylish train. She completed her timeless style with classic chignon, delicate pearl drop earrings along with a pop of colour on her behalf lips to complement the prominent fuchsia peonies from her bouquet!
The same florals are noticed delicately placed round the charming Orangery by Bella Botanica, a boutique wedding florist specialising in luxurious hand-tied bouquets, venue styling and inspiring floral installations. The couple decided on a handfasting ceremony for that wedding, a symbolic unity ritual in which the couple stand in person as their hands are tied together - hence the saying, tying the knot! Frances reminisces around the most special moments of the ceremony: "reading our personal vows to one another in front of all of our guests during our ceremony am very special for all of us. We also were built with a candle lighting for my late father during our ceremony. To quote a number of our guests, there wasn’t a dry eye within the room. Our fascination with each other was the star from the show."
The couple chose one of the favourite readings for his or her ceremony - I Carry Your Heart With Me by E.E Cummings. The colour scheme is made up of baby and navy blues, a pop of fuchsia plus some gorgeous gilded golden tones. A very special homage was paid to some very important pet who unfortunately couldn't make Kilruddery House for that wedding day. We are obviously talking about Frank, Frances and Chris' adorable doggy. They honoured their fur baby inside a refreshingly creative way - literally! "Our dog Frank, unfortunately, didn't come to Ireland for the wedding but our signature drink was named after him - The Frankie! It was a delicious tequila drink shaken with fresh orange fresh and fresh lime juice," they are saying.
Frances' beautiful bride tribe adorned an infant blue shade without one, or two, but seven different neckline styles! How striking may be the vibrant pop of pink from the softer blue shade? The gentlemen added additional dapper accessories for their style also - a set of shades as well as an Irish 'paddy cap' - we wonder was that the nod to St. Patrick? We hope so, in the end, Ireland's patron saint was the main reason they got together!
The evening reception occured in the Grain Store from the venue, with dining tables dressed up in romantic rich florals and candlelight. The separate top table, was organized only two seats, one each for that bride and groom, with what us referred to as a sweetheart table. This allowed the newlyweds to consider a moment alone around the magical day, encompassed by their precious friends and family. Such a beautiful move to make.
Frances and Chris provide some invaluable advice using their Killruddery House a line wedding dresses: "Our advice with other couples would be to decide that which you as a couple want for the big day. Take suggestions and comments from others having a grain of salt because 'those who mind, don’t matter and people who matter don’t mind'. After their speeches and cutting from the cake, they took towards the dancefloor and shared their first dance as couple to Halo from singer Lotte Kestner.
The happy newlyweds decided the dreamy islands of Turks & Caicos will be the perfect place for his or her honeymoon! We wish them a really lovely trip, as well as would like to extend our because of Studio Brown Photography for sharing this very special big day at Killruddery House.
