An Old Glamour + Nature-Inspired Wedding

Readers, I have a three-fold Italian delight for you personally all today, and you're likely to love it – the entire day oozes effortless era-inspired glamour, fun, laughter, and smiles. They were married around 18 August, then brunch picnic, which is a farmhouse turned yoga retreat and holiday accommodation.

The bridesmaid's outfits were created by Raphaela, after which were made in Vietnam, with white tops in a variety of shapes and cuts, olive green circle skirts as well as their selection of shoes. In their hair, they wore pretty crowns of gypsophila and eucalyptus leaves.

Raphaela wore an attractive bridesmaid dresses having a full, ballgown skirt and delicate lace bodice with capped sleeves. Accessories were kept minimal, with only a romantic tulle blusher veil to accomplish Raphaela's look, and shoes borrowed from her Maid of Honour.

Raphaela enjoyed a sweet moment together with her father before getting into a vintage blue Citroen for that journey to Abbadia and Isola to start the ceremony. To Handel's Lascia la Spina, sung by Cecilia Bartoli, she and her father walked together on the aisle.

"Charles is British, and was created in Hong Kong, and I'm Swiss. We've been living an international life! We met in Hong Kong in 2012."

"Charles proposed in 2015 on a holiday to Europe whilst I was seeing friends in Zurich. It was throughout a party with all of my friends, however in a private moment between your two of us."

"Since I was living around the globe, and frequently due to work were not within the same place, we had to postpone our wedding from 2017 to 2018. We had our civil wedding in Hong Kong in March 2017."

The couple's service was conducted through the family priest on Charles' side so that they shared traditional Church of England vows. They also exchanged simple gold wedding bands.

For the evening affair, Roxy Rose turned into a far more formal (and equally fabulous) outfit to entertain your guests – a white top hat and white tie, and Raphaela wore her long wedding gown once more, swapping her veil for an amazing and stylish wide-brimmed fascinator trimmed with pheasant feathers, and adding a set of chic sunglasses.

A wonderful Italian feast was served, then a delicious decorated with a lot of icing sugar, and fresh berries along with a unicorn topper.

"We greatly enjoyed the singing within the church, and also the music, but we also greatly enjoyed the sudden rain shower we'd, and also the time Charles and I had together during our photo shoot since we're able to be so close and dance together."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Planning a marriage in a different country than the one you reside in isn't easy, so you must trust your wedding coordinator (for those who have one), given that they know best the neighborhood suppliers."
