A Music Festival Inspired Tipi Wedding

Katie works popular as a social networking content editor and is a senior radio producer. The couple was married around 18 May 2019 in the beautiful lakeside tipi venue of Hadsham Farm, nestled inside a Cotswold valley.

With this boho, festival inspiration in your mind, Katie visited the FeelTimes online store, where she found an ideal outfit – an exquisitely crafted, vintage-inspired lace skirt, having a top most abundant in amazing off-the-shoulder detail.

"I knew fairly in early stages that I didn't desire a traditional wedding dresses, and was set on having something which fit the venue and theme in our wedding perfectly. I had done lots of research into the style that I was after, coupled with a clear idea in your mind for when I went for my appointment."

"I loved its bohemian vibe and also the intricate detailing around the lace. I love the off-the-shoulder style because it felt relaxed, however, the fact the skirt also were built with a train managed to get still feel bridal."

"My veil was my favorite part of my big day look. Since none of my grandparents are around, I wanted to make sure that I had something on my big day which acknowledged them."

Katie and Christian first met once they worked in the same radio station, although needed to keep their relationship discreet. Work friends and colleagues discovered though when Katie and Christian continued their first holiday together to Devon!

"Devon played a vital role in the way we got engaged. Whilst there, we continued a walk carrying out a cliff path, and wound up on a beautiful spot overlooking the sea. It was here that people had our first photo like a couple, also it was here that Christian would propose 2 yrs later."

"When we first met, we quickly bonded over our mutual love of music. Christian has always worked within the music industry, and thus we knew fairly in early stages that this would play a large role within our day."

Katie and Christian each wrote their very own vows to express to one another and kept them a surprise until the big day.

"We felt it was vital to write our very own vows, once we wanted something which reflected our relationship and felt more personal. We were built with a couple of light-hearted jokes inside too, also it all felt very 'us'."

With the ceremony concluded, it had been time to visit outside for kisses and confetti throwing, together with group shots using the brilliant wedding ceremony.

Kate and Christian enjoyed a sunset walk through the lake at Hadsham Farm before taking towards the dance floor for her first dance together as a couple.

Favorite Moments

"Katie: At some point, Victoria grabbed Christian and me because the sun was set within the tipi and she or he said 'Just go for a walk, hold hands and just possess a moment'. It was really special to possess that moment through the lake and appear back in the tipi, in which the music was playing knowing all of our favorite everyone was there to celebrate our marriage. It was lovely to possess that time together to soak everything in and extremely appreciate your day and everyone who had been there to celebrate around."

"Christian: It has to be seeing Katie coming on the aisle in her dress! After that, the speeches were brilliant, the dancing was very exciting and our back-to-back DJ set would be a moment I'll always remember."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Whatever you're worrying about now, you won't care around the day. There were a lot of things that I was worried about before the wedding, and when your day came, I couldn't remember what many of them were. Anything else will fall under place as long as the major stuff is performed."
