A Modern Classic London Wedding
Hello lovelies, thanks for visiting another week – and we're in June! How on earth did that happen?! Not to be missed – and absolutely someone to be bookmarked should you don’t have enough time to read today.
Our beautiful wedding today fuses classic and modern, city style. Mr. Norris & Mrs. Norris tied the knot on 19th September.
"The day wasn't particularly relying on anything but I have always liked beautiful venues along with a classic look. My dress is lovely with detailed sleeves along with a long train that I wanted a venue that will complement that."
The bride looked the epitome of elegance on her behalf day. Makeup artists and hair stylist worked their magic.
The bridesmaids wore the 'City Goddess' prom dresses in 'blush'.
Mr. Norris wore a dapper suit in navy and kept it super classy having a single stem buttonhole.
"Fitzrovia Chapel is a beautiful Grade II listed building that caught our eye the moment we discovered it."
"We were built for a small wedding with only 50 guests which means this venue fits perfectly into the vision I had for my dream day. The reception venue was right next door therefore it'll be exercised quite well logistically."
The bride's mum accompanied her on the majestic isle towards the sound of cellist Lidia Alonso playing Canon in D by Pachelbel.
"Walking on the aisle was the culmination of all of the planning and work within the months and seeing my hubby waiting for me was the very best."
"My husband and I met on the night out in Camden 5 years ago, we got engaged in December 2017 and also got married nine months later in 2018."
The newlyweds hired the lovely to capture their day in images. I love the time Michelle took between your ceremony and reception to capture these fun and delightful images.
"I purchased my dress from FeelTimes – I loved the detailed sleeves and also the slightly mid-back including the beautiful train on the gown, the gown was figure-hugging but classic then one I can appreciate every day and be happy I wore for several years to come."
The flowers were really important to the bride who wanted to include color and vibrancy in a classic, refined way.
Following the ceremony as well as an opportunity to capture some fabulous images within the streets of London, the pair and their guests made their short way towards the restaurant, which adjoins the stunning Grade II listed Fitzrovia Chapel.
This beautiful space can be obtained for hire for weddings, civil partnerships, and engagements. By the looks of it, it offers the perfect, elegant city vibe too.
"The couple's cake was made by a mutual friend from the couple, who's also a pastry chef."
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"Enjoy the experience of planning and preparing s it is going by so quickly, but many importantly enjoy your entire day even the little hiccups that happen as the majority of your guests won't even notice."
