A Relaxed & Romantic Barn Wedding

Here's to Monday, and getting a reason to feel positive, to refocus, and then try to make the best of the marriage planning in the lockdown situation all of us find inside us.

A based in Cheltenham, married her love Chris, a Reactor Physicist, on 24th June 2019, at Chipping Campden. As an innovative lady herself, the bride-to-be had a pretty clear vision of her day…

"Natasha was this type of wonderfully welcome calming presence. From my trial together with her I just felt comfortable, like I was communicating with an old friend, so I knew she was the best choice. Dean is doing my hair for a long time, so I knew I is in safe hands with him. He was great with my young flower girls too, helping make sure they feel special on this type of big day."

The bride's beautiful blue tulle dress was by a designer.

"From the beginning, I knew the design and style of dress I wanted. I didn’t particularly want an ivory gown. I wanted something a bit different that will feel a lot more like me. I guess it had been a reasonably tall order: I wanted a bit of drama and lots of romance; feminine although not too revealing, and certainly not strapless; a complete skirt, but not inside a ball gown style way; I wanted fluid movement in tulle and lace instead of structured, heavy silk; boho over tradition; an argument back without having to be too low cut around the front; and when possible I wanted color."

"Trying the gown on the very first time, tears pricked my eyes – it felt like I'd get home! Until this moment I hadn't believed it when individuals said you 'just knew' whenever you had found your dress. But I knew – and it had been a little bit of an emotional moment, ending a long rollercoaster of an outfitted hunt."

"For your daughter's groom, we decided on a dark blue Italian wool three-piece suit from, a white shirt, brown shoes along with a dark blue tie to complement the suit. My husband had no idea that my dress had any color inside it, so I needed to work quite tough to steer him from the idea of using a different colored tie!"

"I knew the simplicity of the dark blue tie works beautifully and felt that introducing another color might be risky, so desired to keep things simple."

"Chris and I met through work. Our first date seemed to visit on for the days, and we haven't looked back since! Chris proposed on our 7th anniversary by the time we married we'd been together for ten years. In our decade together we've traveled the planet for a year, Chris together with his surfboard, me with my camera, coupled with many adventures. We now have just a little boy together."

"Our young boy, who had been two along with a half at a time, was a good man. He wore dark blue chinos, a white shirt with little grey zebras, and blue trainers. Our Ushers wore a dark blue three-piece suit, white shirt, and brown shoes, to co-ordinate using the Groom."

"Because my prom dresses had color, I desired to keep the color scheme for my Maid of Honour and my two flower girls quite simple. We went for any beautiful ivory jumpsuit by for my Maid of Honour, and pretty ivory dresses having a blush pink flower garland around the waist for that girls."

"The videography ended by a friend of mine, I caused Jack for any number of years, and we were so glad we picked him. He worked so difficult and captured your day perfectly. He was incredibly discrete around the day and we barely noticed he was there."

"I think it's vital to try to have a few minutes throughout the day just for you two – your day really does go by in a flash, so attempt to escape for any few minutes to consider it all in and meet up with each other."

"I enjoyed our confetti tunnel moment, and that we also were built with a similar sparkler moment within the evening involving our evening guests. I thought it had been nice to possess some kind of activity that involved the evening guests too."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Also, do not sweat the little stuff – easily said I know. But realistically, it's probably only you who'll notice if something doesn't quite visit plan, or if your favorite flower isn't in season."
